about

This is one of W.B. Yeats' most loved poems. I set this to music with Paul Lauzon in New Orleans, 1968. We did a major collaboration on a complete musical setting of Coleridge's Rime of the Ancient Mariner on the same trip.
Recorded live at the Union Hall in Ste. Anne de Bellevue, Quebec, with Michael Pinsonneault (Bug Alley Band) on Sax and Henry Heillig (Mantecca) on Bass.
